LA BAULE INTERNATIONAL SHOW JUMPING OF FRANCE

From May 13th to 16th, La Baule's dedicated horse stadium, François André, will welcome the International Jumping of France-La Baule. La Baule has captivated the world's greatest show jumping champions while touching the hearts of its fans for 50 years !

It is difficult to believe that the International Jumping of France-La Baule is in its 50th year of existence with an enthusiasm generated by La Baule's spectators as if every time was the first time!

It was in 1960 when the city of La Baule purchased the soon to be celebrated grounds that have gone down in history since. The Organizers have superbly maintained the Francois Andre's stadium reflecting the class events that they organize. Just last year, new stabling facilities were constructed offering the ultimate comfort for the best show jumpers in the world.

The names engraved on La Baule's "Hall of Fame" convey the importance of La Baule's influence in the history of equestrian sports. All great champions have reigned in La Baule: World Champions, Olympic Champions and even the number one world ranking rider!

La Baule's illustrious past and dynamic present have planted the seeds for new challenges and the discovery of new potential.

France's Kevin Staut, 29 years old, is among this young and upcoming talent. Recent European Champion, he is already ranked 5th in the world. La Baule is one his major objectives on the road to the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky this September. As the leader of the 2009 winning Nations Cup team, hoping for victory on home turf, he will count alot on La Baule's magic to inspire continued success!
