ISLE OF FEDRUN : SAINT JOACHIM

An island village where the houses are stung out along a circular route. In the heart of Fedrun, two of the cottages are open to visitors. The Chaumière Briéronne (Brière Cottage), n° 180 allows one to become immersed in the day-to-day life on the Brière islands at the beginning of the 20th century.

At n° 133, the visit continues with the Maison de la Mariée (Bride's House) for an encounter with the homeworkers of yesteryear who made the waxen orange blossom for bridal finery, still made today in the studios of the high fashion houses in Paris.
